back in the days of the F1 that was really their only vehicle right?
I remember the Mclaren Mustangs but that's about it.

You'd be paying some SERIOUS money for those 60s/70s ferraris.

But those aren't attention grabbers like super cars?

Yes, other than real literal Formula One cars the "F1" super car and the F1 GTR racing version were their only car from 1992–1999.

Nice cars for sure, and a plane, but super cars are such an attention grab.

thats why I would get a brooklands if i was loaded rich. I know its a few years old now but its the epitome of luxury and speed

I've been a car guy for my entire life and when I think of "automotive Mecca" Houston is not a city that will ever, EVER come to mind.

It is somewhat surprising but there's a lot of oil money there. Old oil money. Families who haven't had a real job in 50 years. Then you have the new money who tries to compete.

Like others have said, check out south beach and the nicer parts of LA and its suburbs. New money trash on full display.

I thought I heard an ad in passing the other day? Oddest combo of a dealer. It made me stop but I can't remember what it was.

Something like Bobs Chevy and Nissan, but instead it was Bobs Dodge-Porsche.

I was just coming to say this.

The Buckhead area blows Houston away.

This is wrong and stupid. Houston has 25 Fortune 500's compared to Atlanta's 16. Houston is the oil capital of the world. No industry in history throws money around like oil. Oh, and Houston is 4x bigger than Atlanta.

That car has a dealer plate. He probably borrowed the car to drive there to work his second job. He is parked right next to the associate of the month. A little more hard work and he'll be in that spot

I have done everything short of drive up to it at his office and look at the badging.

There's a Ferrari dealership in the same building as my Comcast office where I live

Those comparing Houston to Miami......I'd bet Houston has as much or more, but it's just so spread out and there are a lot of shitty cars in between. Houston is just huge and there is a lot of money.

Now per capita, maybe a different story. I even think Dallas out-does Houston in that regard. Go out for a night in Dallas and the super cars will be everywhere.

Dude. Atlanta isn't in the same ballpark.

Houston money doesn't flash it like Miami or LA. You're more apt to find them driving a Denali than you will a Bentley.

I think it's funny people don't realize that Houston has it's own very upscale areas. It get's hidden by the crappy concrete jungle that is the Houston metro area. But there are a lot of very well-to-do areas if you know where to look. I don't even turn my head to look at a Ferrari or Lambo anymore. Porche 911's are as common as Honda Civics in The Woodlands. And The Woodlands is only mid to upper middle class. There are other places much more exclusive

but the woodlands tends to be much more new money than say river oaks. Those people like to show it off. But there are some people in River oaks that like to show off their cars like Tracy Krohn with all his Ferraris.
