I'll add that most of the cities and towns along the romantic road could fit. I like Nordlingen (particularly cool cause it was built in a meteorite crater) and Dinkelsbuhl personally.
Lots of the others mentioned are great in their own ways.

Any developer familiar with a procedural language like C could learn COBOL from scratch in 2 weeks fairly easily.
