HOA fee is $1600 a year there. Non-residents can pay $20 to get into the lagoon area. Residents there are pissed and started a petition to the developer. From the looks of it they are canceling public events for now. The neighborhood is close to a lot of apartments in the area.

Not really. White people suck, I get it. But usually you dont see a mass hoard of white people going to a black neighborhood and fighting at the pool, or at the mall, or at the movie theatre, or at chuck e cheese.
Football game, sure. College bar, sure. But then again the football team fights at college bars too.

If we are being serious, what do you think plays a bigger factor? Their race or the fact they are teenagers?
When I was a teenager, it was not out of the ordinary to go to a party at someone's house and a fight would break out. This was mostly white kids.
There was always something going on between kids from different schools. And there was those few kids who just liked to fight and would find someone, especially people they didn't know, to fight.
I know, no matter what I say, yall are going to think what you want, but teenagers are stupid. They do stupid shite and I don't care what race they are.. if you put enough of them together, at some point some crazy shite will happen.

And i get that white kids fight, but they arent taking that shite to other peoples hoods.
Thats what im kind of getting at, You get some drunk white LSU kids fighting in tigerland all the time. They arent bringing their beef to the country club pool.
but then again i have only lived in the south in states with the highest % of African Americans, so maybe I have bias and dont know what its like on the west coast or up north.
I never saw a white parent come to a school and beat up a kid. Im sure it has happened. But seems like the norm for grown women of a certain race to fight children.

Pretty much all neighborhoods in Houston that are middle to slightly upper middle class are very ethnically diverse. That's just normal Houston.

I hadn't seen the part about the $20 fee. Article I found online was developer blaming the chaos on a private party thrown by a resident that was attended by a ton of non-residents along with the lagoon being opened to the public certain days to try to market the neighborhood to potential home buyers. Didn't really look like many potential buyers in that video though

This would happen occasionally in our crew but it wasnt ordinary and we would try to break it up. There were never guns involved and we werent trashy enough to do it around kids.

it's called being classist and I am 110% classist as frick. No matter what color they are, lower class people don't know how to fricking act in public these days, and most of them damn near take pride in that

The nicer subdivisions in Houston are very diverse and there are fantastic and well off people of all races living in them.
It's a socioeconomic and education issue more than race in most parts of Houston. There are a lot of vastly different economically situated people living closer to each other than in many other cities around the country.

This is the biggest factor. The kids that I mentioned who was always looking for a fight. Looking back at it now, it was kids who had reason to just be pissed off.
I can think of a specific person who wanted to fight all the time. At the time we all thought it was funny, he got attention because of it so every time he would go to a party he would look for someone he didn't know. .. But looking back at it, if I recall.. He lived with his mom and when they would get into it, she would make him go live with his aunt for a few days, I think sometimes longer than others.
His aunt didn't provide the best environment, so he probably just had a lot of anger built up, but even kids who come from good homes will get into things they shouldn't every once in awhile.
