That judge should be hung in front if the court house they work at. Slowly though, not the official way.

Let’s check in on how bail reform is doing in Houston:

Bail reform is good, its these moron judges not issuing them to set guidelines that's the problem.

The prosecutors office and HPD is a complete dumpster fire right now.

As mentioned in another thread, the paper plate fraud is out of control in this town.

It triggers the frick out of me.

We need to fund the police more not less.

It’s less about specifics and more about what makes progs feel better. Results don’t matter.

Judge who granted this should be jailed, or at the very least disbarred. Total travesty of justice

Isn't that the same city that gave George Floyd just 5 years for armed robbery/home invasion of a pregnant woman?

I tell you what - you are right. Trudy White is a quality judge.

Reduced bail leads to murdered cop

Thanks for correcting me.

Yep. Thank you Beto and straight ticket voting. It is the gift that keeps on giving back in Houston.

Won't speak to whether I'm a fan of the judiciary. But I will say that I see what bonds are set every day in the 19th, and non-monetary bonds are extremely few and far between, and non-monetary bonds for people rearrested while out on bond functionally don't exist.

While we are removing qualified immunity from police, we should consider the same for judges. If their shite ruling results in someone's death, they should be held accountable.

You got me. A greatly reduced bond is not the same as a non monetary bond. Trudy did the right thing.

You're fricking adorable with your goal post moving. You said, and I quote:

And the best you can do is a three year old article about someone who kept making monetary bonds set by a judge who hasn't been on the criminal bench in over two years.

Just own that you were shooting off at the mouth about something you know nothing about
