My part of The Woodlands was out for 13 hours. Lost hot water to the sink and washing machine, but bathrooms still have it. The night before we ran the dishwater overnight, but that was not an option thanks to Entergy, and me being an OT poor and not having a generator.

Exactly. Everybody be sure to weep for their poor ignorant plumbers because they only went to trade schools and don’t have a college degree.

Are the turbines not frozen? Did Biden not suspend natural gas leases?

Do me a favor and let me know how many GW of wind are down, how many GW of solar are down, how many GW of NG is down due to supply issues, and how many GW of all others are down for scheduled maintenance.

Also his lease suspension has zero impact on NG supply right now. Google lease to production timelines. It’s a stupid policy but it has nothing to do with these issues.

Some of that was them putting me back on it. I’ve been out since last night but the map was wrong and just corrected.

Clearlake area and haven't even seen my electricity flicker.

I didn't realize how bad it was for everyone else until I read about it on here.

Definitely fortunate.

In Fulshear. No power since Monday morning. Barely any cell service. Gas is still working. Water is still working.

Early yesterday he said he was at $6.88 a kilowatt.

At that price, I would shut off the main power and drain the water lines.

I would find the nearest hotel open and stay there. It would be cheaper.

I know that is a peak demand price so it is not all the time, but if I had to pay that price for my entergy bill based on last months usage at that price, I could buy a car or pay half of my remaining mortgage.

3000 x 6.88 = 20,640

You must be on the west side of 290. Everyone on the other side is still out. You must be in the 433. The 429 is still out. You know, the old side.

League City, still no power. It came on a couple of times last night for about 15 minutes each time but nothing since 4am. Water is running. Supposedly going to get power back by 5 tonight, I'm not holding my breath.

I know places in Seabrook have power but no water, same with some of Baytown.

I'm about to take my son to the office with me because the power is apparently on there. That is at 45 and beltway south.

You realize I drive the car that’s in my avatar and it runs on ethanol right? Although it runs like shite when it’s this cold out for a bit. I could still make it there in my SUV.
I’m not a greenie. I’ve fracked more wells than I can count.

Prepare for it to go out again. I’m southeast of Cypress around Bingle and in came back for about 5 hours but out again for the last hour. Just be prepared. Take your shower, make coffee, charge devices.
