I always heard to drip the faucets if you will be home during the freeze. Only shut off to the house and drain if you will be away

Rolling black outs in Magnolia since last night. Never been more grateful for the combined body heat radiated by two 200 lb. Great Danes.

Centerpoint is going to have to answer a lot of questions after this week

It's really not their fault, it is the ERCOT dipshites that are to blame. They are the ones responsible for the grid and giving electricity to the providers like Centerpoint. The finger pointing is going to be why they weren't prepared for this when the forecasts for such brutal cold were out there well in advance. For starters, I would want to know why pipelines weren't pushing mega shite tons of NG ahead of this thing.

West u is still down. We lost it Monday night and still has not come back. It’s pretty cold. My in laws down the street said they think theirs is on but they went to a hotel.

Cypress here. Power went out last night around 6:30. It was a sucky night. I'm at work now, but my daughter and dogs are freezing.

This whole thing has exposed how weak our power grid really is.

Are the turbines not frozen?

Did Biden not suspend natural gas leases?

Oak Forest (crazy seeing so many people in OF and GO) and we have power and water. In-laws on the east side have no power. Co-worker in Galveston out since monday AM. Buddy in magnolia got power back at 4am. Have friends near the park in OF that have been without power since yesterday.

Sure but from everything I saw from the people up top they were just not fully prepared and their generators went down. It’s not like the shite Biden did all of the sudden caused this.
