Guy in the Cadillac left the scene but I’m thinking either ex military or LE

I see zero chance of him getting charges.
Maybe a job as HPD shooting instructor

He will probably get charged since the guy was running away. It’s bullshite but that’s how it goes.

Dave Thomas sure looks different since he’s been dead.

Him leaving might be a huge part of what’s gonna bite him.

Woman: He shouldn’t have shot him.

Not in Texas.

But I'm sure there will be other problems - illegally possessing a gun, leaving the scene, etc.

That's not an easy shot either. Hitting a fast moving target from a distance with a pistol requires some serious marksmanship or luck.

Agreed. That and the robber posing no threat to anyone. Hopefully the investigation ends with "we just couldn't find any good leads."

Good shooting. Of course the woman objected to it. She is an idiot.

I’m a little disappointed he didn’t roll over the guy as he left.

I’m for America, and he should walk.

He will be charged since he left the scene, but not that he killed the robber.

Nah, happened in Greens Point or as the locals say, Guns Pernt. Bet the GJ won’t indict and maybe give the shooter some chic fila gift cards.

If I’m on the jury the prosecution will have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the scumbag robber was not going to get reinforcements to come kill the victim, and that the shooter didn’t ultimately save his life.
