I think it’s dumb on their part, but those guys aren’t very good a large homes anyway. Probably need to stick to their wheelhouse of 1500sq/ft shotgun houses.

I wouldn’t be happy if I lived on CC or in Westdake. I just hope they try to match the neighborhood and don’t trying something like the houses being built across from Webb.

The intent of Laubscher bringing his wife, making promises, etc. fit his reputation. He definitely found his mark and got his part of the job done.

People who demolish houses in that neighborhood tend to not have very good taste. As you mentioned that house across from Webb Park is going to stand out for the wrong reasons. There is also a terrible house on Woodside closer to College Dr. that doesn't match anything around it.

Just b/c they have built a bunch of small homes doesn't mean they haven't built larger ones. I know the guys and they've done work outside of those type of houses. I don't agree with everything they do, but people needlessly bitch about them constantly in Capital Heights. But the fact remains that Doiron was flipping and building houses in Capital Heights 15-20 years ago when no one hardly wanted to live there. Now the property values are though the roof in large part b/c of him.

I would offer to sell it back to them for 100,000 more than I paid for it.

Let the court chew on that.

James said he'd sell it back for 850, but that was verbal.

I can’t wait for all these old mf’ers in hundred oaks/capt heights to die off or move into a retirement home so we can start demoing all these crappy old houses around here.

This house is back on the market. Where are all the preservationists with their checkbooks? Anybody have an update?

I was there in my younger days, i remember when the kids dad, his boss bought him a pool table, and we would shoot in the garage, and the younger son ended up hustling everyone, including the Dads boss, took him for a shite load of bubble gum.

or when we were out throwing the football, and he hit his oldest sister in the nose.

It’s shitty that they lied to this old lady’s face but that’s how some people choose to do business. At least people here know how they are now.

I had a drink with James Monday, they sold to and made some coin. Hadn’t heard the new owners were trying to sell it.

Wrong. If it was that big of a deal, you get it in writing. You make it a restriction on the deed. Otherwise they can shut their trap.

New owners live right behind it and will be putting restrictions on land if they sell.

No fricking way that reminder of why the 70's blew is getting put on the register. Those Brady bunch people are lucky no one pushed the Hoarder issue last few years and get out of the neighborhood.

Everyone needs to start building in Valley Park/Bawell area so that we can revitalize BR just like that one guy did. #letsbuild
