Countless labs have reported a 100 percent positivity rate, which means every single person tested was positive. Other labs had very high positivity rates. FOX 35 found that testing sites like Centra Care reported that 83 people were tested and all tested positive. Then, NCF Diagnostics in Alachua reported 88 percent of tests were positive.

How could that be? FOX 35 News investigated these astronomical numbers, contacting every local location mentioned in the report.

The report showed that Orlando Health had a 98 percent positivity rate. However, when FOX 35 News contacted the hospital, they confirmed errors in the report. Orlando Health's positivity rate is only 9.4 percent, not 98 percent as in the report.

Thank goodness a journalist did their damn job and investigated the claims.

Shocker, reporting isn’t 100% accurate during an unprecedented pandemic!

Who is surprised by this when they are incintivized to do this shite?

This is why the media and left are now stressing cases. Easier to manipulate cases than it is deaths though deaths were manipulated as well, probably falsely over reported by 5-10%

It is becoming more and more apparent that the total case count is bullshite and anyone who makes any decision on a case count or cries about it is a fricking retard or just looking to score political points.

Agreed but hospitalizations are trending in the same direction.

Not a lot of details on how or why it happened, though.

quote:Don't care. They're still half of what we were at the peak in most places. And here we are with an OP saying it's likely not even that bad. Hospitals crying and whining have had months to prepare for any surge that was bound to happen once openings began. What moron thought that opening wouldn't increase case count to some degree?
but hospitalizations are trending in the same direction.
Hell, IMO we never should have closed in the first place. We wouldn't be dealing with this now if that was the case. But politics and "muh grandma" won out thanks to mass hysteria.

UNPRECEDENTED!!
ERMGERGAHHHD!!
HOW CAN ANY HOSPITAL HOPE TO PUT OUT ACCURATE REPORTS WITH BUILDINGS ON FIRE AND ZOMBIES ATTACKING THE FRONT DOORS!!
SHOCKER!!
SHOCKED!
AMOS SAYS THEY'RE DOING THE BEST THEY CAN!

Covid hospitalizations? Are you sure?
This report doesn't specify if they were only counting tests if they were positive, or if they were counting all tests positive no matter what. If it's the latter, that almost guarantees that the covid hospitalization stats are wrong too.

:this is my shocked face:

But apparently reporting is over 90% inaccurate.
Posted on 7/14/20 at 10:36 am to El Magnifico
So did they not report the negatives or just report the percent positive wrong?

Reporting 100% positive should raise a lot of eyebrows.

Jesus.
That's just a small rounding error, right. At least they're in the ballpark.
