The most sympathetic answer would be in their crazy state of mind they don't think their children can survive without them.

The most evil answer is they want to hurt their spouse in the worst way possible and that tops anyone's list.

Tough titty for her. She can always sell her pussy to get by. She's given it up on the side for free, might as well make some money.

andrea yates...her conviction was overturned, and when she was retried she was found not guilty by reason of insanity...she's been in a mental hospital since then, and has refused any reviews that might result in her being released...

She shot at him... he had a choice... go for his kids OR ???

He knew she lost it. He had a hand in it.

She's 99.8% to blame... he's not blameless.

Wait.

So she shot up a bar and got a woman in the back of the head, drove home, had time to get home without getting picked up, began threatening her husband WHO IS STANDING NEXT TO THE COPS via text and still had time to kill herself and two children before the cops made contact?

What the frick are you even doing Glendale?

This happened to my former boss a few years ago. Things had gotten bad between him and his wife, never found out why. She was texting him telling him that his son was a POS just like him and that she was going to end it. A couple minutes later she text him a picture of his son dead on the floor, then said I'll see you in hell and killed herself.
The son wasn't hers and he was an adult. We never found out what caused it all. We had all met her several times and she seemed really sweet, but you could tell something was a little off. If our team went to lunch for a quick meeting, she was there. Anytime we got together with him for something work related, she was always there. And not just present, but following him around like a puppy. He couldn't get more than arms length away from her. it was odd, but you never got the feeling that she would do something like that.

He was the best manager I've ever had. Great guy, easy to work for, intelligent, and would always go to bat for us. Needless to say, his life took him to a very dark place. He was drinking a lot and seemed to have lost his faith a bit. He ended up getting killed in a motorcycle wreck a couple years afterwards. Just sad all the way around, he definitely didn't deserve what life handed him.

Police arrived on the scene at midnight. They entered the family home at 2:30am!!!

Two and a half hours for her to kill her two kids and herself. Reportedly the house was only a few blocks away (or nearby). How was someone not immediately sent to the house as soon as the police were on the scene. You don't need a warrant to enter the home if a resident is armed and dangerous and the HUSBAND CAN GIVE YOU PERMISSION!

Why did it take 2.5 hours to make contact when the identity of the suspect, car and address were all known?

Thanks for the correction. I watch so many true crime shows that I get the cases mixed up.
