I’m a believer in BTC and invested pretty heavy in ETH, but you need an appetite for extreme swings if you are going to be in the space.

We're normally more vocal when it's crashing from bull to bear, tbh. It's not fun seeing huge profits go poof in a matter of hours, and we need to commiserate with one another. The MT crypto thread stayed pretty active throughout this last bear.

That said, I've made a good bit in the past year. Mostly from Solana, which I'm up 534% in my portfolio in the past year. I'm well into profit on BTC and ETH, too. Now, some of my shitcoins, eh, that's another story. Luckily, I don't gamble much on those so the loses are minimal right now. Some are starting to bounce back, though.

Probably because Bitcoin when it shows how volatile it is, “haters” are suggesting that it’s more like gambling than an alternative storage of currency.
