Gather up all your and your neighbor's leaves. Wait until the wind is blowing their way, light the leaves, not all at once, but keep the fires going as long as possible. Smoke 'em out. Keep it up every few days, they'll leave.

If he plays loud music:
1) will him and his neighbors be bothered?
2) could someone file a noise complaint?
3) could the hobos do something in retaliation?

Dang Son! That is very close I would find out who that land belongs to. If it's a land company or a person offer to buy it for a reasonable price. If you find the owner at least let them know there are homeless people living there and they need to something about it. I cant imagine that in my backyard. Do these homeless people look like they are on drugs and all? I'm getting them out one way or another. Good luck.

Step 1 I'm beefing up my fence and electrifying it (with proper signage), step 2 I'm getting a billion lumens spotlighting from my yard to their area all night. If step 3 involves castle doctrine, so be it.

But yeah, step 0 call that property owner.

I'm sure this has already been asked, but you knowingly purchased a home that abutted to a homeless encampment? Yeesh!

I passed purchasing a cute little house at a great deal because of a vacant house directly behind it. The house we were looking at had a privacy fence to shield it from the eyesore, but just the idea of dregs accessing the house near our yard and occupying the house in close proximity was a dealkiller.

This thread has HUGE potential.

Try one suggestion every few days and keep taking pictures.

We are going to need pictures of the people as well.

You need to throw some stuff over there when they aren’t looking.

Trash, ants, wasps, antifreeze meatballs. Maybe some spotlights at night. Bugle in the morning on some big arse speakers. Etc.

We will need video and pics of everything.

Where are they? All out panhandling? Now's your time to slice up those tents.

You need to buy that property behind your house.

Get aggressive and entice one to step on your property in an aggressive manner. Then shoot him dead. That should clear them out. Stop giving these people an inch. They’re homeless drug addicts that are a drain on society and they deserve to be treated as such.

And I’d call the cops and lodge complaints every single day, multiple times a day until they forced them to leave. To the point where they get tired of you calling. You’re going to have to up your tactics

I stated earlier we did not know this was an issue until months after we moved. It wasn’t in this location. It was behind our home and deeper into the woods. I told my neighbor I was hearing noises from the woods recently (3 months ago) and she said oh that’s the homeless.

Yeah it looks like it could be bought cheap. Not enough to really build on and close to the highway so no real major value. Worth a shot. If that doesnt work flip a cigerette over there if you know they smoke. Looks like it could go up in flames quick and then they would blame each other for smoking near their tents.

It was still a terrible idea to buy with them anywhere within a quarter mile of your house. Hell, I wouldn't live within a mile of a convenience store.

I don’t think I’d bank on being able to out disgust a homeless camp.

Give them a bunch of fentanyl laced coke. They’ll blow through that with a quickness. Problem solved.
