This should really help the value of your home. Everybody loves homeless people

You also have to worry about that section 8, community cesspool, behind the Academy Sports. tPOS are always on the prowl looking victimize in the area.

Watch the South Park episode about the homeless…. Then get a bus and ship them to California

I’m not gonna tell a man what to do but I probably wouldn’t have bought a house with motels in my line of sight right behind the house.

Chances are some of those guys a registered sex offenders. Call the police

Got some high IQ details on what this would look like? I'm sure this homeowner would love your ideas of how this would work out.

Lighting a fire under the land owner is the only solution. There’s codes that don’t allow for that type of living on the land, there’s fire codes, etc. threaten to take action against the land owner and the land owner will fix it.

Why is Lancaster building townhomes right next to sect 8 cesspool apartment complex in an area surrounded with homeless encampments?
Is there some plan to improve surrounding area, or is being done cheaply with section 8 part of the plan and calling them townhomes just makes it sound nicer until it’s too late for actual neighborhoods nearby to complain?

Because idiots are buying them. New construction is selling anywhere in BR.

If you can’t beat ‘em join em…get a tent and hop that fence brother

quote:This is probably the route I would go. Hell, file a lawsuit against the landowner and allege a diminution of your property value due to the landowner's negligence in failing to secure the land. I'd try to have some correspondence affirmatively notifying the owner first, but otherwise a lawsuit will generally get things moving.
Lighting a fire under the land owner is the only solution.
Unrelated to this, but if the landowner truly DGAF about the land, I'd build a new fence (you need it with incoming apartments) and go ahead and set it a couple of feet onto their side. If you maintain it for the next 30 years and they don't object, it's yours.

Same could be said about that $400K+ subdivision off of Staring, adjacent to the Staring Motel. You got the Town South ghetto up the street, as well as Avis Ave, and Bles Dr all violent communities, yet every house has practically been sold in the subdivision.

Email all of these contacts right now. Include photos and mention that your wife is pregnant. Tell them you fear for your safety. This story will get picked up by someone. Make sure you CC all of them so everyone can see the others copied. Trust me.

I live nearby - Bluebonnet Terrace . It’s been a problem since Broome was elected.

They are clearing land for another new development on Staring right now.

Lol. No. Don’t ever build on someone else’s property.

What a disaster. I’d make damn sure I had a great camera system and accessible firearms. If it gets to the point where you have an intruder (which it undoubtedly will), it will help to have video proof of the intrusion and the necessity for deadly force. Video can also be used to bolster your police complaints.
Obviously contacting the property owner is an immediate necessity, as is rallying support from your neighbors and HOA. Each of you needs to be calling the cops daily with specific and new allegations of criminal activity. Keep a record of all complaints made.
If that doesn’t work, I’d charter a bus for a one way trip to Nola so they can be with their friends. frick, man, good luck

Who would have ever thought apartment/condos going up right behind your property would be a good thing but in this case it beats the alternative .

local media is OWNED by Broome or whoever owns her. Unless it Kiran, don’t expect anyone to paint an unflattering picture of EBR. It’s all unicorn milk and rainbows as far as the local media is concerned. Gotta push the narrative while the place crumbles.

I’m not a lawyer, but that has to be a violation of some type of penal code.
