The main problem facing young men today, your 35 year old isn’t young, is technology.
Dudes just don’t know how to speak to women now. Most of them are scared shitless and would rather go home, beat off and watch porn than to get their dick wet. Also soooo many of them can’t deal with rejection- blame that on the everybody gets a trophy culture.
I’m 28. When I was in t-ball you could strike out. Only 1st and 2nd place got trophies and a 2nd place trophy was basically just a reminder that you lost.
Also I had a stronnng sexual history in high school and college and met my wife late in my junior year of college who is gorgeous but also is my best friend and an incredibly ambitious woman.
Key is the ability to be ok with failure. You have to be ready to strike out once or twice but get back in that box and take hacks.

IDK, man. There are guys like my friend who just didn't win the genetic lottery. He's just not that tall or athletic or handsome. Maybe that turns them into pussies but they didn't choose that life initially.
Twenty years ago, men like that might not have been able to walk into a bar and pull a one-night stand, but when women started settling down around their mid-20s they'd have more of a shot. That's just not encouraged anymore.
And FWIW, 15 years ago I can remember going to bars that had a "ladies night" and having my pick of women. Lately it seems like a lot of places have turned into sausage festivals. Seems like women just use some Chad-summoning phone app if they're horny, Uber Chad into their bedrooms, and then just go back to taking pictures of their food or whatever the frick young women do. Kinda sucks.

Currently, I have no idea. It's not something I concern myself with.
When I was in high school, we had a teacher in her late 40's that we all assumed was a virgin. No idea how we came to that conclusion other than she was very religious, very conservative, and had never been married. Anyway, she got married at the beginning of one school year, and her demeanor did a complete 180 once she started getting some D. She was kind of cold and a bitch before, and pretty awesome after. That's my old virgin story. God bless Mrs. Becker(formerly Ms. Smith), wherever she may now be.

That’s an excuse. I’m short, 5’6, and have either been chubby or very muscular my whole life. Even when I was chubby, I pulled arse. It’s mostly about confidence. Is it easier when I’m muscular? frick yeah it is, but it’s not impossible when I get lazy and chubby.
Like someone said earlier, get in the batter’s box and take some hacks. Worst thing can happen is you are told no. Best thing, you get laid. Seems like a decent deal to me.

Went to a friend's wedding last year who was 30 or maybe 31 and was waiting for marriage.....let's just say the couple of was actively counting down the minutes until the reception ended, and the husband got them out of there with some sort of swiftness after the send-off.

This makes me wonder how old you are. I think there was a "sea change" a few years ago.
Going back to the guy I originally mentioned in this thread, I remember another guy we worked with being really surprised when someone mentioned that he was a virgin. This surprised person, though, was a bit older than me- born around 1970, maybe. I was still young enough (and maybe immature enough in my activities
) that it didn't surprise me at all that a relatively normal man would be a permavirgin.
