I am not sure a spotty paint job would be considered body damage? At first glance the HOA may have not been specific enough with their rules in this situation.

HOA's are for small dick motherfrickers who have perpetual inferiority complex issues.

Save the battles for big shite, but the petty shite I see HOA's focus on are just bullshite

Thought only HOA's could put a lien on your house only.

HOAs are a consequence of the fact the prob a quarter of people are trashy and if not policed will ruin the neighborhood for everybody

and in Louisiana you have a lot of trashy people working in O&G who can afford to live in nice neighborhoods

Seems trashy. Why not have it restored?

I agree. To me this comes across like people who spend hundreds of dollars on pre-torn, pre-worn clothes.

To each their own but he's playing semantics. Paint wear, especially to that extent, is indeed "damage".

Wait, so just because someone lives in a neighborhood where there is an HOA that means they have a small dick and an inferiority complex?

My word, man.

You're equating a valuable antique truck with original paint to Abercrombie and Fitch jeans?

You HOA apologists need to find a damn hobby

Getting your panties in a wad because someone's vehicle is in their own driveway, their trash can is in the wrong place, etc is pathetic

Cars always parked in driveway is trashy. If it wont fit in your garage then get rid of it or store it elsewhere

It’s not “always parked,” he drives it.

Park one of the ones without a "patina finish" in the driveway and the park the truck in the garage.

This seems pretty simple.

HOA's can be great. However, this seems ridiculous.

My HOA is also full of a bunch of morons. They were posting on Facebook last night about some teenagers making out near our pond, and then they called the cops on them. Nothing better to do for these fools.

They also wouldn't let me put a double gate on my rear fence that faces the green space, because they said I would then try to drive a truck into my backyard or park a boat back there.

My mother in law used to live in a sub with a far reaching HOA and she policed that shite with no mercy. They had a rule that said your roof had to be cedar shakes or architectural shingles... fine that's totally OK. Well one of the homes replaced their cedar shakes with new cedar shakes and they threw a hissy because they were too new looking and didn't blend in with the neighborhood.

HOAs are fine as long as you have people with common sense in your neighborhood. They go batshit crazy when total douchebags with shite for taste decide they hold some kind of power.
