Yes they are all scripted and you don’t set your alarm to catch the latest episode, but when your favorite sports team isn’t playing and you are channel surfing, you stop and watch it. Is your favorite the restoration shows, competition shows, or just the plain old auctions?

There have been lots of them, but I enjoy watching Wheeler Dealers the most. Two English guys, one searches out a deal and the other is the expert mechanic and car restorer. They have used several people as the mechanic but the car finder seems to have always been the same person.

Growing up watching Powerblock on channel 41 on the weekends with my Pops is a core childhood memory.

Roadworthy Rescues with host Derek Bieri is always a good watch. And, Roadkill is another go to for me.

Who needs a show when you maintain multiple older vehicles like I do?

Stop watching other people do. You do!

My own garage.

But I'm not good at the selling part.
Except for the Corvettes.

( not counting the racecar)

The original mechanic were the best episodes. They had a falling out I think and he left to do his own thing.

Since I stopped watching TV it's been Legit Street Cars and Daves Auto on YouTube. Mostly. When I'm not watching cops harass citizens or Honest outlaw.

These three put out some great looking rides and the amount of custom fabrication that goes into the end result is awe inspiring.

Dave Kindig's crew is top notch from the metal fabricators, painters, body workers and interior design crews and they turn out some incredible cars-----but at a hefty $$$$$$ for the end result.

Some of the Texas Metal cars have me scratching my head with many of them not having fender skirts under the hood to catch any of the road grime the tires kick up. That would be a nightmare to clean under the hood getting caught in rainy conditions.
