I don’t see this passing. They will be bussing people in from every street corner in BR to vote for this one.

I could be wrong on the process, but if they have the signatures, doesn't it go to a statewide election?

my mistake, I didn’t realize it went to the full state to be voted on. Although I can’t imagine people up north caring about St. George becoming its own city

If it has the signatures and they are all verified, does the metro council still have to vote on it to get it to the state election or does it go straight to the election?

That is exactly why it will pass. Outside of people around here, most will just see "Do you support the formation of the City of St. George" and will mindlessly vote yes.

I almost positive it has to pass in EBR, statewide, and the proposed area.
