I'm with you. I'd vote no, also. Someone is going to have to support North Baton Rouge. I'd rather it be EBR Parish rather than other parts of the state.

Why not just sign it online?
.

There is currently no law that allows for this.

No, that’s not legal, but there are signing stations scheduled to be set up for the remaining days. Go to the SG Facebook page for details

Not sure. Website says

You must sign the petition in person. Contact us to have a volunteer bring the petition to you.

Jesus dude you basically fell for this. I thought we were better than that. The form online just gets them to call you to schedule a time for them to bring your the petition to sign. You have to sign it in person.

I live in New Orleans and I will be voting against this. I just do not see it as good for the region or the state as a whole.

Good luck with that. LMAO

The form
A single page signed correctly becomes part of the petition.

That's what I meant.

I could be wrong on the process, but if they have the signatures, doesn't it go to a statewide election?

next step upon certification is submission to the Governor, who has the responsibility to call a special election

Does he have to do this or is it his decision? Could JBE quash this thing to make SWB happy? I don't trust that dude.

The petition form must be an exact copy of the one approved by the Sec of State’s Office and must bear their stamp as proof.

I hope it passes. It is not fair to have to continually support the cesspool of humanity that is called North Baton Rouge

Then move to Livingston Parish

He has to call an election. Besides, he’s wanting moderate Rep votes. The petition has been signed by Dem and Rep alike. I don’t see him entering into an election cycle doing shite like squashing the rights of people to determine their own form of government. It would be political suicide.
