I want to build a sofa table similar to the picture and am thinking of the best was to get the rounded corners. Do you use thin sheets of mdf and mold it? I think getting a big block of wood and chiseling out the wood would be too much for me. The pictured piece looks to have pre fab molded corners that are just screwed into the top and legs. I worry about the stain on the table looking bad with different types of wood used. I’d want to use a nice piece of wood for the top.

Any thoughts on the best way to do this? I’d rate my skill level as mid tier, above average but certainly no expert.
