I hadn't either until I rode in one a couple months ago.

I love my 23 Tundra TRD. Obviously they had the recall but I fortunately avoided it. 60K on mine now and no issues.

Have the hybrid and the motor is super strong. Pulls great as well.

Before I put the 3" lift and 35" tires it got 20mpg and rode like a Cadillac. Not so much anymore but if you keep it factory it is an A+ in that department.

The recall wouldn't stop me from buying another Toyota, they did right by the ones that did have issues and di full swaps instead of trying to get out of fixing issues like Chevy and Ford have done. Previous truck was a 2019 F150 and I definitely like the Toyota more.

And you'll like the Toyota more come trade in/sell time.

a long warranty.

Nothing is made like they used to be anymore now a days. Pick your poison. Also too many sensors and electronics is just more shite to break.

But if you go with ford, use floodfordesp.com to purchase your extended factory ford warranty. You can choose the miles, years, and deductible that you want. They sell them cheaper than anywhere else. I guarantee they will smoke your dealers warranty offer.

The frontier is the most reliable pickup sold today

Just as it was for the last 15 years.

I have to say, browsing the Frontier. It seems like a decent truck for the money for sure.

The only answer, but be prepared to pay a premium.

For the Ridgeline...

4x8 sheet goods fit between the wheel wells. Great interior space for a family of 4. Not full sized truck space but think mid sized SUV width and legroom. Mine was the best vehicle I've ever owned. Only reason I don't have one any more is I needed more tow capacity.

I love my Ridgeline, can’t see myself driving anything else.Only 5,000 lbs towing capacity but that’s all I need.
Not the “coolest” looking truck on the road, for sure, but looking “cool”isn’t one of my priorities.

There is a transmission replacement in your near future.

Turbos are all junk.

I'd get a Ram with 5.7L - no ETourque - (have owned 2) or a previous model Tundra with as low miles as I could find. Still going to be expensive.

I'll be honest, the look is the downside for me. It seems to have some cool features. The in-bed storage I saw was cool. I'm not a big "gotta have tacti-cool" guy but I do struggle with the look on it.

Get it fixed and keep it
I guarantee the repairs will never cost more than a new or used truck
