How much are you drinking right before bed? And are you drinking anything with caffeine?

Cutting both back within 3 hours of bedtime will help.

If true, go see a urologist. The urologist I know say getting up to pee once or twice a night is normal.

More then that then you need to looked at because you have a bigger issue going on. There are treatments that can help you get a better night sleep and it's better to catch incontinence or prostate issues earlier then later.

Subtle I only have to get up and pee once a night; hang in there rookie, it’ll be three times a night before you know it.

I don’t have to pee necessarily but mentally if I think about peeing (which I do every time) I can’t sleep. So I just get up to go pee anyway.

I get up and pee at least 5 times every night.

And my dog scratches on the door 3-4 times a night so I get up and let him out to pee

we are both old though

Can't remember the last time I slept the entire night without getting up to piss.

Wait until you get "peegasms", when, you wait and wait for it to come out and when it finally does it feels great.

Pee 20 min before bed…pee again at bedtime. Stop liquids an hour before bed..

Get a PSA test...just in case.

I tried that, but then I'd get dehydrated at night and wake up with stomach cramps.

I mean I did this plenty as a kid too. Probably no more than now at 43. Problem is I don’t fall back asleep nearly as easily now.

I'm in my late 30s, and I get up 4/5 times a night to pee.

I make sure not to drink any liquids a few hours before bedtime as well.

There's probably something wrong with me.

I am 59 years old and just finished up radiation treatment for prostate cancer. Diagnosed 15 years ago. Doctors have yet to accept that I almost never wake up in the middle of the night to pee. If I sleep more than about 7 hours I may wake up around 8 hours in and I if I have been on a bender and drank a bunch of beer I may get up to pee but normally I can sleep 7 hours straight thank goodness. My dad has had prostate cancer come back twice and he is up all night when he isn't just pissing on himself. So far no adverse side effects from treatment. Knock on wood....
