Haven't Had a Statue thread in a While. Cowards at it Again.

They sold two parks and are removing the statues under the cover of night.

Personally, I think the remains and statues would be better served if they are moved to Shiloh or other battlefield

Probably. It is a military statue of a guy who was a private citizen when he helped Memphis. Quit defending statues dressed in confederate uniform with their accomplishments while in civilian clothes.

Not defending anything. I just think the whole statue removal thing is stupid and accomplishes nothing.
