Is it though? Pumping your own gas does absolutely nothing for you. It’s something humans invented 100 years ago.
A farmer could call people that don’t grow their own food lazy too.

They claim that they can offer gas at the same cost as the stations, sometimes even less. They don’t have to pay for a storefront or any other associated costs so maybe that’s accurate.
I highly doubt this as gas is mostly sold as a loss leader or at cost at a gas station/convenience store. The profit in most convenience stores is from what they sell in the store. For example the highest selling items are tobacco products, alcohol, lottery tickets, hot food, and the other overpriced stuff in the store that you are too lazy to buy at Walmart that they bought for you at Walmart prices for double the price.

Nope. I wish. I would have however allow my wife to hit me with a 9 iron to play golf and smash like he does.

What a horrible idea. Let's leave the gas lid open so dumb frickers can put shite in your gas tank. On top of that I just love trying to drive down parking lanes while a fuel truck is blocking the path or even better, blocking me in.
I think you May be a bit paranoid.

Is this really any different than full service gas stations?

We invested in an early stage service.
They don’t buy fuel at the pump they buy it at the bulk/jobber site at the Whilesale price there is enough markup to allow the transport.
The company we are involved in does small fleet - plumbers, electricians, etc. It also stops the 45 minutes on the clock hanging at a gas station instead of job site and ccasionally filing up you wife’s car with the company gas card BS which owners appreciate.

I do not own a single 4x4 with a locking fuel door. All are just pull open.
400k+ miles driven, never had gas stolen or tampered with.

Really think your gas tank door is that secure even when you have to press the open button inside?? If someone wants to get you then they will.

My cousin is somehow involved with this company. I believe he is the guy in charge of bringing this to the Greater Los Angeles area. They have it around the Bay Area and hired him to help bring it to LA. I think it's a pretty damn good idea. Would like to see if it succeeds.

I’d pay more than I pay at the pump to have these guys come fuel my vehicle so I can avoid fending off bums while parked at a gas station.
Same. When I lived in BR while I was going to LSU, always had crack addict bums asking me for stuff at the Shell station near the Cane's.

How does it work when my gas tank only opens by a lever inside the vehicle?
You open it for them before you get out of the car?

I need this!!!!
I hate fueling up and I always wait until I'm riding on fumes and all panicky wondering if I'll make it home from work.

It's surprising to me that there's a market for this being that it only takes a couple of minutes to gas up once or twice every couple of weeks.
For me It's not really an inconvenience to pump my own gas. Plus, I'm particular about who services my vehicles.

At least you drove to the gas station and I haven't see a full service station in decades

But gas stations aren't making money on gas, how will they turn a profit? Maybe the cost of gas is cheaper but they'll be charging a service fee

So with this option, you’d prefer to burn your gas going to the gas station because you don’t want to be “lazy?”

Almost every new modern convenience is based on not having to have people work as hard. If you wanted light, you used to have to build fires, then they had candles, then the invented the light bulb and all you had to do was flick a switch. Lazy!

Yes they are. The myth that gas stations don't make a profit on gas alone is a lie. It doesn't keep their doors open, and its not their biggest profit absolutely. But its not a loss leader. They turn a profit on gas.
For small fleets this is a genius idea. Hell, think about how many smaller municipalities have small fleets. Removing employee theft alone for a small fleet would likely be well worth it for a large percentage of companies.
