Have your vehicle fueled on demand.

Order fuel while you’re parked in a parking lot of a store and a truck will come fuel your vehicle while you’re shopping. Their costs are equal to or less than what you pay at the pump.

I find this to be a damn interesting model. I am not sure they can hire a shite load of drivers and pay for transportation of fuel at the same cost that we can buy at a gasoline station, though.
I think that this model would however, work very well for a situation where fleet vehicles are parked in a lot and left overnight...these guys could come in and refuel them all at night saving downtime on the fleet vehicles.

How does it work when my gas tank only opens by a lever inside the vehicle?

You have to leave your gas tank cover popped opened for them.

How much should you tip for a fill up?

They claim that they can offer gas at the same cost as the stations, sometimes even less. They don’t have to pay for a storefront or any other associated costs so maybe that’s accurate.

I’d pay more than I pay at the pump to have these guys come fuel my vehicle so I can avoid fending off bums while parked at a gas station.

This type of business already exist for places like truck companies. It is called wet hose. More efficient than drivers fueling up each tractor and tralier.

Very interesting idea. Keeping your tank open for a half day while at work is a very minor issue imo, it doesn’t have to be completely open just slightly ajar and unlocked. Take places like hospitals, large companies, government offices, court houses, etc. where you have a lot of middle class to upper middle class people working M-F and I honestly don’t see how this wouldn’t work. Even for a premium of $2-3 a fill up, or more. I’m not paying $5-10 extra a fill up, but I could see some people. I could also see some people paying a monthly subscription of $10-20/ month plus the cost of gas.
That CEO comes off as a major D-bag to me. Last part of the video wasn’t as bad but the first part he was terrible.

They will never be the cheapest with states minimum mark up on gas. Timmy Thompson from Houma is part of a group that started this in Houston. It first started in the area around SF a couple of years ago. I’m sure it will do well. This guy always hitting the jackpot. He made a butt load being an investor in “black swan” years back. Low budget movie that was nominate s for several awards.

Maybe don't go to a shithole gas station just to save 5 cents a gallon..
And can they bring me a big gulp, bag of chips, and some jerky too?
If they can make a profit on it, more power to them...but I wouldn't use this service.

My employer in Dallas offers this service. Essentially you leave your gas thing open before you go into work and they fill you up so when you leave work you don’t need to get gas. They come by twice a week. I think it’s more geared toward company’s where they can do a parking lot full of cars.
They have the same type service for washing and detailing inside of your car. They text you when they arrive and wash detail your car and they text you when done.

The detail your car at work thing is pretty common. I have this guy in Baton Rouge. His business is called Wax on Wheels and he comes right to my office and cleans up the car while I am working. Beats going to a location and sitting in a shitty waiting room.

I always thought golf courses/ country clubs should offer car detailing services. Seems like a good match between clientele and amount of time a car sits in the parking lot.

A fill up and wash/detail while at the office would be badass. I’m in.

Or UST costs. I think that can cut out a lot of overhead and likely insurance costs as well.

They should have an "in drive" refueling much like "inflight" refueling.
