I've seen several fights between patients' families and caretakers. Nothing between employees though.

Not at my work and I have been managing pipeline workers for almost 20 years. Imagine that. However last year I was walking into a Lowes here in NE Houston and 2 Lowes employees were going toe to toe in the parking lot by the storage sheds. It was actually impressive because the stand-up lasted almost a full minute before it went to the pavement. Usually street fights go to the ground within 30 seconds. There was actually time for a crowd to gather.

No. But our building just got a new insurance company tenant and like 85% of them dress poorly and smoke. I'm guessing my chances for witnessing a fight at work just went way up.

yes, It had several layers of amusement.
worked in the paint department at chrysler, and a hoosier and a brutha got into it.
Both were in their late 50's, swinging wildly like baseball/basketball players, while slipping and sliding because of the over spray paint on the grates.
It was extremely amusing, no one even tried to stop it, because it was clear, no one was getting hurt, those haymakers weren't making any connections.
They ended up getting tired, stopped, and went to break room. Hoosier dude, from slipping, had paint all over the side of his coveralls, so he wiped the shite off and then his face with an alcohol rag(only shite that would get the solvent based paint off), lit up a cig, poof, burns his eyebrows and beard up. He ended up going to emergency room with 1st degree burns on his face. dumbest, but funniest shite ever.

Real deal professionals coming to blows.
Wait I'm confused......
Well...it depends on what kind of IT guy

Yep. Both combatants wore glasses. One pair got knocked off and hit me in the face. The other hit another bystander.

when I think of the term "professional" I think of someone that has specialized. Like a doctor or lawyer or something.
But to answer your question, no. But I've seen some really really heated arguments.

I was going to say yes, but it's only been with the inmates.

While doing an OB/GYN rotation, two patients got into a brawl before their prenatal visit. Of course they had the same baby daddy and of course this was at the Earl (EKL).
Saw a critical care doc with a black eye at work. He was banging his NP/PA, and per the story I was told, the husband walked into the LTACH and punched him.

Come to blows? No. But I did witness two college of business professors having a spirited war of words outside of their offices in CEBA once. The incident was brought to the attention of the dean, who came and broke it up.

We need videos of these people fighting at work.

Yep, oil spill in one of the local ops centers. Two college educated professionals working as managers over pretty large #'s of people.
One 6'3" white dude, Vietnam vet and marine vs a 5'4" white chick from Chicago mid 30's maybe 40's.
Yelling, screaming, chest to chest, then pushing and shoving, almost throwing punches when everyone else finally jumped in.
After that fight mandatory time off was instituted, apparently they had not been home in over 6 months. She was also planning a wedding.
Dude got let go pretty much immediately and the chick was demob'ed a few months later.

Yes. Two female nurses in the nurses station one night. All over another co-worker who apparently got them both pregnant. Needless to say, they were fired on the spot.

Witnessed numerous fights at work. Sometimes they were encouraged, other times they weren't. It was a college football team though.
