My kids school teaches it. Think they started in 2nd grade? It’s a magnet school though. The little girl I tutor is also learning, she started in 3rd grade. She goes to a private school.

I was reimbursed for a portion of both my generator (no medical need) and chainsaw after Laura. I also have home insurance. The partial reimbursements of those two items were the only thing I qualified for with FEMA though.

The only time I’ve downvoted more on this site was in a “I’m so cool because I pretend on the internet that The Beatles are overrated” thread. At some point my eyes are going to roll so hard, they’re going to fall out of my head.

Calcasieu Parish School Board just called and cancelled school (the very few that were even open) for the rest of the week.
I burst into tears and stomped my feet on the ground like a fricking toddler. I’m just done. I’m lighting a fricking match as I walk out the door if we have to leave again.
