Once, but I poured moonshine in the tank and kept going.

No. My Prius can carry me far and gas is cheap. I never have to worry about filling up

Yeah, once when I was young... fortunately I was within a mile of a gas station. Easy walk to get some.

No, I am what I like to call "responsible" and "not an idiot"

Yes. Was shite out of luck too since I ran off on the plug twice. No way he was dealing with me again

Friend of mine in college would run out of gas on a weekly basis. He'd also lock his keys in his truck regularly and would call me to come help him break in. Yes he's an idiot.
Fun fact: that guys future career will be in law enforcement.

Yeah once when I was moving in college. New house was one mile down the street. Didn't notice my gas gauge driving back and forth all day

Yes, but I had 2 tanks at the time. I just flipped it over to the second tank

In my broke days I would have to stretch every tank out. Ran out of gas twice.

Yep.
If you're married it's an excellent way to get bitched out and you won't have a good explanation.

Just once, in BFE, Idaho. I knew I was reeeeeally low, got off the interstate at the next little town and my car died at the stop sign at the bottom of the offramp. As luck would have it they were repainting the crosswalks through the little downtown, which was right in my way to get to the lone gas station about 3/4 mile away. Ended up parked in front of the local cop shop, and I flagged down a Shoshone County sheriff and he helped me out from there

Yeah.
My gas gauge on my truck was having a stroke for a few weeks and I knew I was cutting it close on day but was late for work due to a massive hangover.
Ran out on a feeder onto the 610 loop in Houston. Was a nightmare.
I eventually got a ride, got gas, but said frick going to work for the day.

Senior in high school on a first date that was also a double date. Ran out about two miles from town. Guy I knew from school comes by while we're sitting there. He has a gas can, so he drives me to town to get some gas. Get back to car and pour about 3/4 of the can into the tank. Try to crank the car, and it's so empty that it won't pick up the gas. Pop the hood and the guy that picked me up says he's going to pour gas directly into the carburetor to help crank it. Turn it over and it backfires through the carburetor, causing the gas can he's pouring from to burst into flames. He panics and throws the flaming gas can right in the middle of the state highway that we're sitting beside. There wasn't a second date.
