Last time I went was to the Show town/time on Airline early ,70's. Saw Fistful of Dollars, Hang'em High, and The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Clint was the man.

When I was a kid we had one here in town called the New Moon drive in. It was over on hwy 14. Now it's a driving range but still has the 'new moon' name to it.
Last one I was at was in Pennsylvania in the late 80s. Watched Total Recall and you had to tune your car's radio to a certain frequency to hear the movie.
I thought they were great. Wish they were still around.

I remember the Do Drive-in on Metairie Road. Would I love to have the property that drive-in was located on now. It would be worth MILLIONS.

Yep, but obviously the property owners at the time also realized that and sold it after shutting down the drive-in.

We have one in Memphis. I've taken the kids a few times.
They don't appreciate the nostalgia.
Memphis was where I went in Middle and High School. Saw Amityville Horror, Animal House, and was there for several others just usually with a gal so only attending the movie not watching Especially since I never drove there, always the backseat passenger.
There was a big K-Mart nearby, it's where I met Isaac Hayes between his popularities (Music was over with and before Southpark). Parked next to his forest green with 14k gold trim/plated wheels Cadillac DeVille.

Back in the early 70's Showtime Drive-In had twin screens in Baton Rouge. It was located off of Airline Highway (US 61) in back of the old State Police Headquarters. And there was another one that showed x-rated movies, think it was called The Tiger Drive-In. Can't recall the location, though! All good memories.

Quite a few. I saw American Grafitti at the drive in off Airline Hwy in BR as a kid, as well as another that I can’t really recall what it was exactly at the Rebel drive in, where the community college is today.

Stationed in Fort Rucker they had one in between Daleville and Dothan. You tuned your radio into a frequency and they had 4 screens. It was pretty cool and 6 bucks for 2 movies.
