Not many exist anymore. I remember as a teen my friends and I would grab some beer and go see a titty flick. Sometimes take a date, park in the back row and play grabass. Good times. Good times.
Someone is building a new one in my area. Might have to go check it out.

As a kid in the 70's we would go to the old Algiers Drive In at least two or three times a month. That is where I furst saw Smokey And The Banfut when it first came out.Great times were had at that old Drive Inn theatre.

Went with my parents once or twice as a kid. I don't recall any boobies.

ps - not sure but I think there was one way out in Kenner, eventually became a badass go kart track.

Went to the Beverly in Hattiesburg twice. Novelty wears off pretty quickly.

There's some still operating in areas out west. Back in 05', my wife and I visited her sister who lives in Cody, Wy. There was a small town outside Cody that had a drive-in. We saw one of the X-Men movies and there's something surreal about a 50 degree night in July, sitting on a tailgate and watching a movie outside with gorgeous mountains all around you.

It's actually one of my favorite memories.

we have like 2 locally, and a few others around the state.

i remember as a kid, drive in's were the place to watch movies. Pack goodies, drinks, etc and hit the double features.

Kids would be on the swings, or playing in the big sand play areas, getting dirty as frick, while mom or brother/sister got action.

We had one down the road in Vegas. We would always stop at Church's and get a bunch of chicken, biscuit, okra, and go watch a movie. This is back when you have the speaker you set on your window. Now you tune into an FM station on your radio. I wish Louisiana weather was more comfortable for drive ins.

Many times. I think the last one I was at was in the 80's and it was a replay of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

They’ve started to pop up again in flourishing wealthy suburbs in Texas.

Never been to one.

There is one open a couple miles from where my parents now live in AZ. We keep saying we will all go check it out one night but haven't yet. Maybe next winter.

Westgate Drive-in in Kenner bra. It used to be about where the Kia on Vets is located.

Saw Easy Rider there way back when.

There used to be several in BTR. The heat, humidity & mosquitos took some of the fun out of it in the summer.

We have one here- been to it a few times.
A lot cheaper then theater, save like $30 on ticket prices for family of 4.

I can go only in the Florida "winters"- too hot outside
