And entirely appropriate.

Care to try to explain how purposefully slamming a handcuffed person's head in a car door is "entirely appropriate"?

ETA: I'll add the caveat that it is possible this could have been accidental, with the cop not noticing where the guy's head was before slamming the door. I'd like to see the next thirty seconds or so of the body cam video to see how the cop reacted.

That said, your sorry arse just implied that it is "entirely appropriate" for a cop to purposefully slam a handcuffed person's head in a car door. I don't know how someone even gets to the point of seriously making that comment.

Yeah, no. Cops are almost as unaccountable as politicians in this country.

Except cops love to throw that charge around almost as much as disorderly conduct. Cops are not the heroes we grew up thinking they were, in reality they are the zeros we grew up with.

You are spot on unfortunately and most Americans understand full well that cops are the only government employee who A) does a fantastic job and B) can't possibly make a mistake while doing that job. The fact that this sentiment exists at all is problematic....the fact that it exists to the extent it does despite ample evidence to the contrary is arguably the biggest existential threat the people of this nation face. Allowing the state to behave in this manner by ignoring it or worse encouraging it is as un-American as un-American gets. It is astonishing that the majority of the "cops are always right" crowd are also the "government is never right" crowd because it is the cops who will be a problem when the government ain't right.....if and when a citizen loses a right it will be lost to cop....and cops will not think twice about stripping citizens of their rights....they will do whatever their bosses tell them to do.

Guy screwed up..

It's gotta be tough to have to deal with the same shite day after day, often from the same people over and over again, and be expected to do it perfectly every time.

But... that's the job.

Same can be said for people and the everyday bs they have to deal with. They're still expected to follow laws. Do they get the "guy screwed up" treatment, move along, nothing to see?

Why do you think DEI and 30x30 exists?

It’s so they can ostracize the other cops that don’t conform to them.

Don't know if I'm seeing something y'all aren't seeing, but it certainly looks like an accident. I'm sure the cop was frustrated and closed/slammed the door after having to drag the mouthy dude out by his feet. Had to shut the door to pick the dude up, just didn't expect his big head to be in the way.

I certainly don't defend or excuse cops when they're intentionally wrong, but ALL the "bad-cop" videos are them dealing with non-compliant, violent or resistive criminals. None of them are of them dealing with compliant people.

Common sense should tell you to be compliant. The side of the road is not the place to fight your legal battle. Ever.

Actually there is. If you want to act like an arse and resist arrest and refuse to get out of the car and other such bullshite, you can expect a door slam.

I honestly have no problem with this cop. In fact if there was some more of that we might have a little less crime. As it is the criminals act like thugs then play the victim when someone has finally had enough of their bullshite.

Somebody needs to splice in this song after the "Ohhhh" at the end of the video when the car door gets closed.
