A few days in NOLA East, imagine all the crimes he saw!

Rico probably ran all the way to Jazzland to ride some rides, and was sadly disappointed. Then sulked back to where he was found.

None of this would have happened without your initiative. You deserve the lions share of the credit here.
I followed this thread since you started it and it was one of the most captivating threads I've seen because it was live and this dog was in great danger. I'm really happy Rico was found and is ok. This was pretty amazing. Thanks to everyone who put forth effort to help find this dog.

It wouldn't have happened without us all. Alot of positive energy was put out there and folks stepped up.

Awesome.

I never put 2 and 2 together. How did you find this thread/board? Was it linked in a facebook group?

Nailed it on the first page. If either of my kids ever comes up missing, I'm sending out the OT detective bat signal first thing

Oh without a doubt.

I've showed my office yalls work before, and keep in mind I've been here since 06, regular poster of the OT. I know when this place needs to come together there is no better community than the OT on fricking TigerDroppings. The work and support from all posters is nothing short of amazing.

I knew it was only a matter of time before the #RicoRoundUp would be complete. Really great news.

Man read this thread from the beginning and this place just amazes me. A tragic event turned into hope and a bunch of strangers on a internet message board get to celebrate the reunion of a Baw and his lost pup. Great job to all the baws and bawettes involved in this thread

Pandy, Proximo, Swagga, Insee, whoever else, you guys are really awesome for being so selfless and kind to both James and Rico.

I'm honestly tearing up right now, I was so upset last night when Rico wasn't found last night, I was dreading the idea of him having to spend another night out there. After being spotted last night it would have just been the worst if ... well, you know.

to the TD Rico Rescue team!!!

Awesome to hear of the successful reunion.

To the owner: do Rico a favor and check for tics. Possibly he picked up one wondering through all the tall grass.
Also, I recommend microchipping him. Collars and tags often fall off, making it difficult to reunite pet to owner. Just get one from the vet next time you take Rico in.

Man, you did good on this one.

You cared enough to light the signal fires on here and the OT army showed up and did what they could in ways they could.

This place has power, and from what I see uses it for good most often.

Y’all don’t make the news, but people see the good still in men’s (and women’s) hearts. One light lights another and that one lights another and so on, until the darkness is banished.

Y’all give hope in a hurting world.

Email Me. I’d like to send you a gift for being a good human.

Proximo and swagga too.

I started a thread and not much else. Other people did the work.

Yup. But he needs to be brought to the vet and fully checked out and monitored. No telling what he drank out there, could be a lot of parasites.

For some extra insurance, we got a Fi collar for our dog which allows you to track their location in real time.
