I don't understand why they haven't done better than they have. Blacks were slaves and have received less perks and seem to have done a better job of assimilating into society. Maybe that is what American Indians are trying to avoid?? It seems at some point you have to realize you have to adapt to survive. Take the handout from the government to better yourself rather than use it to get by.

The OK reservations are infinitely in better shape than what you'll find in the Dakotas.
The BIA era of entitlements has done as much harm to the Native populations as the flight of fathers from the inner city black and the resulting entitlement generations.
As a part of the winning tribe I don't feel much remorse or guilt as so many of the trust fund whiteys do.

was on a driving trip out west once,literally it got to the point where whenever we came up on some really desolate forlorn looking place we'd say "must be coming up on a reservation"and bingo, crest a hill and there's your "Welcome to xxxx reservation" sign.

stop in at the sheriff office and ask if there's anything to see. if so, maybe he knows a guide!
that would be your best bet instead of just popping up at the reservation unannounced.

the buyer has to pay tax based on his location regardless. I've bought cars out of state, you pay your parish or county registration for the car.

tried that at a restaurant in Cherokee once, didn't like it.
We did try Menonite food on our last trip, found out they live Jalapenos. It was in the bread, the pickles and the meat. This was in Yoder Kansas. (same trip I ate the fry bread on)

Well when the Indiansun were given the land by the government they were given the crappiest partso despite them owning the most plush landscapes the American now owns. Also they don't fricking lIke wHite people aND America due to the whole making their race non-existent thing.

Many natives generally were nomadic and didn't "own" land like we think of it today.

Right but they were still given land and also a bunch of perks taxes,casinos etc. Its been 100+ years. Blacks after the civil war were given less opportunity it seems. At some point you've got to get over the past wrongs and figure out how to make you and your family successful right?
