GFS showing 21" of rain from 6.5 days to 8.5 days. Still a long ways out, but goes to show how long we'll be dealing with this thing.

Per GFS.. By the time it pulls out, we're looking at 8 to 10 inches for New Orleans to Baton Rouge, 20 inches in west Louisiana, and 24 to 30 inches in many parts of southeast Texas

This. Those maps can be quite deceiving since it sits in TX for so long.

Just for reference, this is the 24 hour 100 year rainfall event (it may be outdated but its from a report I still use for modeling)
