The one on Westheimer and Shepherd is awful, but I stopped on my way home today and the shelves were full.

I think that store averages about 30 customers a week.

Shearing is good right?

Generally, yes, but shear is slowly decreasing and that might actually be helping things. There appear to be some signs that the shear is starting to aid downshear left convective burst. This might be the 1st signs that Harvey is trying to turn the corner.

Rds what are your thoughts on the gfs vs euro right now? Seems like the differences are significant for houston re rainfall totals, with the gfs taking it down into Mexico.

The HWRF and HMON have also been showing something similar to the 18z GFS for a number of runs now. However, my thinking hasn't really changed today, I don't have much faith in any of the models past the next 48 hours.

PeeJ is going to end up being right after all. This thing is going straight to and will stall right over Mexico.

00z GFS initialized a good bit east vs. the 18z GFS 06 hr forecast. What if any impact will that have?

I live on Padre island (Corpus, .75mi from the beach). How worried should I be?

He's actually right a lot, whether its weather or sports. I understand that the whole Peej being wrong thing is fun, but it isnt really accurate.

I don't post often but follow all of your posts when it comes to storms. What exactly does this mean.

Thank you for your insight and info. It is nice to see someone just state facts.

I'm pretty sure that was rhetorical.

It'd be like asking Peej to correct your differential equations homework.

He's saying the starting point for the new model which just started to run at 10:30 is east of where it started earlier today.
