Described it perfectly. I'm in a fog. My 6.month old is keeping me in good spirits while my older kids are acting like this is a vacation. Lol.

Good on you getting out.
I'm a mile north of Cypress Creek on 249..we rolled down this AM to cypresswood and evacuated the retirement home just part Champions Forest. They left those people there.
Other homeowners in the area were in their second floors, refusing to leave. Mind boggling when the water is 10+ ft deep in most areas.

How far away from Methodist were you? What is the status of the hospital as far accessibility/flooding?

It's hard to say. She has signs that indicate she could come out right now and say let's roll, but signs that indicate we may have a little more time. Based on today's happenings, I'm setting the O/U at 48 hours and hoping for the over.
