Little if any. Larger features will determine movement more than a little dry air and moist air circling the center.

Circulation is counter clockwise with a low. So currently he's pulling moisture into the Louisiana from the south and it's being pulled toward the center. The same story is true for the dry air to the west. It's getting pulled from the north around the center and it toward it. The WV showed the moist air being pulled in is finding a spot around and south of Houston while the eastern drift is slowly moving the dry air plume east as well.

The dry air plume is acting as a boundary. As the storm forces air into Louisiana, the dry air is acting as a wall of sorts. Air hits it, doesn't go through it and starts to rise instead of just rushing west. So the big rain for Louisiana will be just to the east of where that dry line is incoming. So Lake Charles is dry and south of Laffy is getting the business.

For all of you interested in SELA, you're probably going to see between 2-4 inches over a 3 hour time frame as the band over central LA moves east.

Outside of incredibly flood prone areas, it shouldn't be an issue. Projecting any farther out than that is difficult to do at this point.

Despite all of the rain in LA this morning, outside of Cameron Parish, no area has seen more than 6 inches in the last 6 hours.
