no kidding. i thought we would've lost power a few hours into Harvey and it hasn't even flickered the entire time.
Centerpoint, KPRC, and HEB are the real MVPs so far.

BREAKING: Texas governor activates the entire Texas National Guard, around 12,000 service members, to respond to #Harvey disaster.

Anyone know if I can get in to the heights? Coming from 290 and would take the I10 ramp to 610.. or could go 18th Street in.

Presentation looking "better" since he dipped out over water. Actually kind of amazing he's as organized as he is at this point.

That is just insane. That thing does not look like its been over land this entire time...

It's 2017. Don't assume Harvey is a "he". That's insensitive.

Yes better for he/she/it and not what the humans really want to see. Furthermore, you'll note how the clouds are seemingly forcing themselves toward Galveston Bay. Based on that, I'd expect rain to pick up again in the Houston Metro going into the afternoon.

I don't think there's any way you're crossing White Oak on 18th (if you need to, if not that may work).
No idea on that 610 route. A few of my friends in the Heights left yesterday when they could.
