I'm probably the longest lurker in history since I found this board the night Ryan Perrilloux flipped his commitment. My family and I just moved to Spring/The Falls and this thread has been extremely helpful. We had no real clue what was going to happen.

Oddly, the updates have kind of gone by the wayside... Doesn't feel like anyone is paying attention to where its going now, moreso worried about the current conditions and where the bands are lining up.

Yup, what i've been saying all day. Houston has been perfectly placed in between the main convection of the storm and the outer feeder band.
As it starts to shift back E like it is now, the main convection is slowly going to creep into Houston and thats when the flooding will occur.

Yep. I'm sitting in sienna plantation (between Sugarland and Pearland on HWY 6) just basically waiting for it to hit the fan. Brand New to the area and have no idea what to expect.
Everything that I've researched says we can handle another 10-12" in the next 24hrs. Anything after that is a crap shoot.
Kinda freaking me out. Had a tornado come through and damage about 50 houses last night a mile from my place.

And the hits just keep coming, In Laws had big place on Copano Bay they just knew would survive a large storm including a new metel shop/boat barn that was engineered and built for 150+ winds last year, we just found out it's all gone. They didn't take anything out and the boat in the shop is gone, only concrete foundations left.
