Well we can't get to our place down there because of flooding between where we are east of San Antonio and the coast, did have someone go by our place and it's a total loss. The front half toward the water is completely gone, back section is still standing but exposed and the water is rising down there with all the rain and the run off from the north. This sucks.

Everyone in the Houston metro should pay close attention to local officials and the NWS Houston. There is a very strong signal in the current modeling that parts of the Houston metro area could see an additional 15-20" of rain tonight.

Maaaaan I hate to hear that, I was genuinely following along with your posts hoping everything would somehow turn out alright (at least relatively). I don't have much to offer, but if you need anything even simple I can try to help.

Are models predicting a shift to the E?
Central Houston has been relatively dry all day, has been in between the mass of circulation and the strong outer feeder band that has been trailing over Beaumont/Woodlands all day

We have backhoes, skid steers, excavators, and manpower loaded here and ready to go but this damn thing won't move on and isn't expected to, county officials are looking for airboats as flooding is only going to get worse.
