Does anyone have a link to some live feeds or local news reports? Is anyone actually crazy enough (besides Jeff) to be broadcasting from ground zero?

They are telling people that are not evacuating to write their name and SSN on their arm with marker.
It was on CNN so there is a good chance that isn't true.

I went through that area about a year after Katrina had passed through ... it was shocking to still see the devasation. (Long time lurker jumping into the abyss).

This is almost unprecedented to say, but Harvey will likely be stronger at its point of landfall than during the landfall of Hurricane Ivan or the landfall of Hurricane Katrina. Both of those were Category 3 at landfall.
