Not necessarily. Interstellar means it came from another solar system or star, which is really rare as most of the meteors and asteroids that we see, track, etc are from the formation of our own solar system.
What would be even more rare or surprising is if it was a material that we don't already know of, because the elements in the universe kind of are the elements, so it's not like there are a bunch we're unaware of that exist in the next star system over.
