It's equally as bad as them calling it "Hammond America"

They're trying to co-opt our high class Caucasian suburbia lifestyle.

Is it that hard to proof read?

I've been hearing the opposite, but only by people that have never been to the north shore or hammond

People from Covington/Mandeville are approaching Texan levels of obsession with theirselves.

Chain restaurants and a brief 30 minute commute to anything exciting is a big deal for some.

I'm from mandeville. I live in Madisonville. I work in Hammond. I know of very few people who call Hammond the "northshore" but now that you bring it up and I think about it, sure, Slidell to Hammond is now what I will consider the northshore. Basically I-12 between I-55 and I-59 to make it simple.

I'm from BR, live in Nola, and I think of Hammond to Slidell as the Northshore.
