Screw pride man, you did right by your wife by asking for help. So sorry about this, it’s tragic and horrible and nothing will make it ok. Try to hold it together for your kids and other family, but don’t put too much pressure on yourself. Prayers/thoughts/good vibes sent your way brother.

My heart breaks for you my brother. I’m so sorry for your loss. I trust the Lord will continue to give you strength and comfort in these times. The Bible says that He will be your shield, your glory and the lifter of your head. I believe He will do that for you. Praying for you. Don’t beat yourself up over not being able to fund all of this. You take care of you and the family, we’ll try our best to handle this.

What you're undertaking is more than anyone should be able to handle on their own. To not ask for help would be foolish and only hurt. Work the problem and be there for your kids. There will come a time when you can look back and understand what's happening now, but for now don't worry about the small things.
