1911 Remington (45 ACP)
New little Glock 9 mm
Old Mossberg 12 gauge, possibly modified...

Three different places in/about the house.

It’s a sorry rat who ain’t got a second (or third) escape hole.

Glock 19 in my nightstand

Under the bed
Franchi intensity with 3.5 00 buckshot
Custom AR with 5.56 home defense rounds

The way the hallway leaves my room though the reality is I would only use my pistol.

And you don't have kids on the other side of the drywall either, right?

No.

I live at least a quarter of a mile from my nearest neighbor.

It's low brass buck.

And I'm not a whiny twat.

Like most things in life, it depends. I have a very socially active 12yo who has friendsin and out of the house constantly, I can't leave loaded guns around. I have an M&P Shield 9mm, but it's locked away, same as my 1100. I can get to them, just not super fast. I have eleventy three baseball bats around (what said 12yo does) plus two yappity yap dogs that will raise all manners of hell. So, if I have time and an empty house, it's 9mm or 12ga. No time, full house it's bats and fight like hell.

Depends on where I am in the house when the shtf. 2 .40 cals in the front, 2 pump action 12 gauges in the back and a .40 next to my bed. Wife and the two older kids are proficient with all.

Glock 40cal. but moving to a shotgun. Safer so I don’t shoot the neighbors.
