Or perhaps a polar bear.

Or perhaps a Kodiak bear, which is larger than the Grizzly.

That was a badass hunt by that Jag.

Bears are absolute death incarnate. The Romans killed animals by the thousands in the coliseum and bears killed all.

Yeah, but the tiger could catch the grizzly slipping and latch on to it enough so it will then not be fighting at 100%. Size doesn't do you any good when you can't catch the opponent.

Grizzlies can run in excess of 30mph. They are not big lumbering lard asses. They are big lumbering athletic killing machines. They routinely kill large ungulates.

A tiger would never be stupid enough to take a shot at a 1500 lb grizzly, if we're doing the whole "in the wild" thing.

A polar bear is the only thing on this planet that can throw hands with a full grown griz.

Saltwater crocs get huge... well over 2,000 pounds, but they need to be able to use water to their advantage or they are going to lose in the end.

Ya'll are sleeping on the snake, it is literally 100% muscle.

Honestly, whoever gets the drop is going to win, everyone can beat the other depending on scenario.

If the tiger stands any chance at all its with an ambush, and the tiger better connect on the first shot. Once the grizz knows the tigers there it's game over.

always some ignorant posters who think the grizzly is some mythical 15 ft tall beast. a siberian tiger and grizzly are very very close in size

The bear on average will weigh almost twice that of the tiger.
In what world is that very very close in size?
and what the bear has that the others don't is an incredibly thick fur and skin to protect it much more than the lion or tiger can.

a bear is not good nor has any experience fighting or hunting.

Yeah bears have no experience fighting. They live in harmony together and never fight each other over pussy and/or territory like every other animal on the planet.
LINK

This sloth bear LINK, which was smaller than the Bengal tiger attacking it, held it's own, but yeah a 500-600lb siberian tiger is going to take down a 900lb coastal grizzly.

On land there isn’t much that’s gonna frick with a grizzly. Those things are just a different kind of mean. However if the fight is in the water then I’d pick the Anaconda from over any of them. Hard to fight underwater.

I know you probably just picked some arbitrary number...

But both of these animals comes close to 15'. Both tiger and kodiak can reach over 10' in height while standing on their hind legs.

I don't know why you keep glossing over the Kodiak bear, which is larger, on average, than a grizzly.
