Man something is fishy here. This guy was too calm and collected at a few different moments. The most obvious is his pointing of the gun and the lack of surprise he has when the gun goes off. Dude didn’t flinch like most untrained people would. And his ability to think to say his rights were being violated and screaming for help when on the side of the road where seemingly no one is around to hear him while he’s already been tazed and sprayed while fending off two cops? I just feel like this is a trained guy of sorts. Even if I’m sober, I don’t think I could’ve pulled off the cognitive awareness he had to make those politically charged statements or accurately fire a weapon at two officers that quickly with no remorse seen. Guy just seems trained.

BLM is a terrorist organization

My thoughts exactly. All of these instances where the laser doesn't work...not a good promo for use of lasers. Something else is needed.

A lot of these 'defund the police' BLM types have basically implied that if a perp can beat a cop in a straight up fight and/or get away somehow, then they should be able to move along on their merry way. Somewhere some people are celebrating this.
One city (don't remember where) just recently moved to make assault of a police officer a misdemeanor. I'm not sure if it passed or not, but think of the logic and motivation behind a suggestion like that? A person in some position of political authority had to be the one to push this. It's ridiculous. And it's scary to know that a significant portion of the populace thinks this way.

Why would anyone be excited to see this?

So the two cops could not easily handle the shooter. Yes, I agree the shooter is the one who is in the wrong here. But why can’t the two cops keep him detained from a safe distance while they wait on more police backup? Put spikes or a lock under front and back tires so he can’t (successfully) leave the scene. I just don’t understand the urgency or manner in which these two police officers who were outmanned/strength have to arrest this guy by themselves ASAP. Just wait for back up. It was probably like a minute or two away and they could have safely neutralized this guy instead of having to fight him by themselves where they were obviously outmatched.
I support the blue, but some of the protocols could be updated to safely handle situations better. I truly believe today’s criminals are different than the 1950s -60s when I am sure most police procedures were developed. People do not care these days. The amount of neck tattoos in society tells us this.

Time to deploy the military
Frick all these shite birds and their feelings
They are all a drain on the society, thin the herd and let us working / tax paying Americans rise up again.

Trump can't curbstomp these pieces of shite right now because it'll cost him the election due to the sensitive types that refuse to acknowledge that Democrats are destroying the nation. After the election, he is a lame duck and can spend the next four years destroying them without any risk. If he does it now, you're guaranteed Biden for the next four years.
I suspect, and I sincerely hope that I'm wrong, these organizations are going to disappear with great quickness if Trump wins the election. And they'll resurface in 2-1/2 years.

Tough to watch. The cops were entirely too flexible with him though. Will definitely be training material for the young rooks on the force.
They actually handled it by the book. The suspect was exhibiting passive resistance and intermediate weapons are the highest level of force they could have used before "police brutality." This is why you don't let the left write policy.

he doesn't have any real training, but it was pretty disturbing how nonchalantly he blasted them. misses the first shot from retention then he's just casually blasting over his shoulder and at the cop that ran away.

The only thing I can think of are quick inject ketamine tools.
Get into a h2h altercation and just stab their arse with 300mg of ketamine and they’ll be down in 5 minutes.
Gonna have to go no with that one.
The potential side effects are likely worse than with tasers.

Yep. It's a shame someone died for trying to be nice to someone who was clearly not cooperative.

I'm no fan of Biden but why do you think that things will all of a sudden change when Trump gets re-elected?
In my opinion it's multiple things. One, I think Trump is having to fight with kid gloves right now. If he plays hard ball and sends in the Guard or Feds then he risks the moderate Dem votes that he is slowly gaining because I think that group is realizing that this shite isn't working. But after the election, the gloves will come off. And the other reason is kind of mixed into the first in that the law abiding moderate Dems are getting tired of this shite. To be fair though, that last point will happen, or is happening, whether Trump wins or not.

Honest question, when would the officers have used deadly force on this guy? He presented as a threat to them so quickly that they didn’t even have a chance to draw.
I am not an officer, have never been, and have no family in law enforcement. Someone may correct me.
I think protocol was broken due to being afraid of using deadly force with today's political climate. I think when using less than lethal or going hands on with a subject like this the second officer is suppose to be standing away and with lethal force already drawn.
It is obvious and very apparent he was stalling for the perfect opportunity to grab, and draw his gun. Had the above method been used, I'm unsure if he would've drawn. In the case he still did he surly wouldn't have had the time to shoot both of them, maybe not a critical shot, or hell maybe not even had the time to squeeze the trigger.
I've watched plenty of cops, live pd etc. They always seem have lethal drawn on a subject like this. Even a lone officer will hold drawn while waiting 10 minutes for backup, then once backup is there one remains still with lethal drawn. Seems they also are trained to stay somewhat separated or walk up on both sides of a car.
