This is the problem with sweeping government action like this.

Nobody can say for certain when it is “safe” so the decision gets put off. The reasoning is it is for your safety and God forbid anyone question that.

Because of potential lawsuits, i don't see society getting back to normal for a very long time.

imagine if they sent children back to school and ONE gets this virus and passes. holy shite......every lawyer in the state would be calling those parents.

I hate governor numbnuts as much as the next guy and I obviously never voted for the dumbass....but he is right on social distancing....even when we get back to business by the end of April social distancing is going to be the new norm.

It's probably going to mean reduction in seating available in restaurants, bars, movie theaters, etc....and that will suck but not as much as being closed down completely.

People WILL still get it. This was about "flattening the curve", not eradicating Corona. I don't know how we got from there to thinking like this.

Social distancing isn't lockdown.

But guess what? Our retarded populace will flood bars and restaurants and other public events, proving to the decision makers that a mere guideline for social distancing would not really be any different than no action.

What? Everyone should be ready to violently oppose any permanent measures like that. How quickly some of you people give up your right to live freely is appalling to me.
