Hoping at least awareness will have an impact too. Cleaning hands and wiping down heavily touched areas and items.

853 is simply the median projection. The range is 326-1349. So the current use is within the range and below the median projection - which is a good thing.

This board is showing its IQ with these coronavirus takes. If the government says we need to shelter in place until new year's, even if it just saves one elderly life, it is completely worth it.

I have to wonder sometimes just how much of this is driven by public safety, and fear of not having enough equipment to manage the numbers, both of which are very valid concerns. But then, how much of this is driven by politics and fear by Politicians in giving their political opponents something to criticize them on, like not doing enough, and How much is driven by lawyers and fear of rampant litigation.
Up to now, I think it’s driven by sound reasoning, but some of this shite you’re hearing like it lasting all the way until next fall and even beyond that is a bit overboard in my estimation, especially since it’s one thing to track models, and another to actually see the numbers for yourself down the road.

The good news is that the median projections of peak deaths and total deaths in Louisiana have dropped over the last two days. Hopefully, our daily deaths stay low and that 54 we had on Tuesday was just a hanging chad.
