How,exactly, do you think any couple meets? Have you ever dated a girl? Spoke to a girl? Most people meet thru friends. It's not creepy to ask your friend about one of her friends. If you want an ice breaker , just say "Hey I saw this girl on your snapchat. You don't know if she went to school at (insert school name) or "you don't if she has a cousin named (insert name here). At the very least , she is going to talk to her friend about your questions and get back to you. While she will be getting back to you to answer your questions , her friend will have already checked you out and probably laughed at how you look. There ya go......your middle school lesson that your learning after college. Wow!

Don't overthink it. Just invite the chick you're friends with to go out to a party or bar with a bunch of your friends and tell her to invite some of her friends to come along too.
If you're really alpha, you'll just tell your friend that you think her friend is cute and would like to meet her.

Find a friend who would be willing to take the acquaintance out. Use friends interest in acquaintance to set up double date with you, your friend, the acquaintance and the hot girl.

Seriously it's just a girl. If anything, she'd be creeped out by the huge amount of effort you're going through just to meet someone you know nothing about.

Look on the FB friends list of the girl you know and find out the hot girl's name. Otherwise, just ask your acquaintance. Seriously. If she's your FB friend and snapchat friend, she should be fine with you asking a question. No big deal. What have you got to lose by asking?

I would just be straight up with my approach:
"Hey, Jane, I'd like to ask you for a favor. I would like to meet your friend, Mary. Could you tell me more about her or possibly introduce us?"
This is really how many, many couples have met each other over the centuries prior to social media.

You should search through all of her social media profiles and pics, find out who the hot girl is. Then when you do, see if she posts where she's going one night. Find her there and tell her how you found out she would be there. She'll be so excited that you're 100% sure to get it

everything in this post with the exception of the last two sentence is correct.
if they are out and on snapchat together then they are friends on facebook, and may be tagged in photos together. it isnt hard to find people these days.
i think you are looking for a way out to not get rejected with the "know nothing about her" angle, i just wonder why you started a thread about it

Option 1) Hey, who was that girl that commented on your snapchat photo. [insert description of her pic here if you have it].
Seems fairly normal, and should at least get you a name.
Option 2) search your acquaintance's Facebook friends for someone who looks like your mystery girl.
A little creepy, but low risk and doesn't eliminate going with option 1 if it doesn't work.
