Unfortunately, loving a sinner enough to tell them that they are living in sin is now considered “hate” by many.

I’ll wait until I see the actual documents around this before I get too worked up.

The press has an agenda and it’s not harmony.

Jesus loves and forgives butt pirates too.

That would be incorrect
quote:

Roman 1:27-28: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient

What is a reprobate mind, you ask?

adókimos: unapproved, rejected; by implication, castaway, worthless (literally and morally)
quote:

2 Co 13:5 - Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates

quote:

2 Ti 3:8 - Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate G96 concerning the faith.

Jannes and Jambres were the magicians that stood against Moses. They were believed to have been consumed by the Red Sea. Trying to enter Heaven they fought to a standstill with Michael and Gabriel, but were eventually cast out by a single angel called Metatron

All because of being reprobates. Like butt pirates

The Church's teachings on homosexuality are what they are, but I've ever never understood the religious animosity towards transgender individuals. I don't recall anything in the Bible that would plainly forbid it.

And people wonder why Islam is taking over the West.

So you think a religion should tell people they are not welcomed because of their sexual situation? Who are we, as humans, to judge people? You can disagree with their life style personally, but the idea of telling people they can't practice because of their sexuality is insane.

Isn't God supposed to be the one who judges people? I am not saying a certain lifestyle should be encouraged.. Not at all, but let people practice the religion they want to practice.

They are called different names in different works depending on country of writing
quote:

In Jewish and Christian traditions, Jannes and Jambres (Hebrew: ???? Yannis, ?????? Yambres) are the names given to magicians mentioned in the Book of Exodus. This naming tradition is well-attested in ancient and medieval literature. In Latin manuscripts of the New Testament, and in Latin writing traditions, their names are known as Jamnes and Mambres

They are mentioned in the KJV, the Tanakh, The Book of Jannes and Jambres (from Greek and Ethiopian fragments), Quran, Pliny the Elder's Natural History, Gospel of Nicodemus, Eusebius' Praeparatio evangelica, the Talmud, testament of Solomon, Palladius; Lausiac History (5th century), and the earliest mention of "Jannes and his brother" in the Damascus Document, states that the two were in league with "Belial", who would later be personified as the devil in Christian texts.
